Director of Care - Personal Support Services
Sharon Mulamba, BHA (HSM), RPN.
Sharon has over 13 years of nursing experience in Long Term Care as a Staff Nurse and as a Care Coordinator & Personal Support Supervisor in the Home Care Sector. She also has additional baccalaureate training in Health Administration (with a focus on Health Services Management) from Ryerson University.Sharon is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and enjoys the opportunity to get to know and build relationships with her patients. She is motivated by the satisfaction of supporting vulnerable patients at their challenging times. Driven by a desire to serve, she enjoys making a difference, no matter how big or small, in the lives of others.

In her spare time, Sharon enjoys singing and volunteering for non-profit organizations.

Zachera Julien Thelys
Zachera brings 14 years of experience as a staff nurse in diverse hospital units, showcasing her expertise in patient care and team collaboration. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Ottawa University and a Social Service Worker diploma from La Cité Collégiale.
With her observant, attentive, and calm demeanor, Zachera fosters meaningful connections with clients and colleagues alike, embodying values of respect and transparency. We’re thrilled to have her on board as part of our team
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Faith MacDonald
Faith joined Team Choice with over 20 years in office administration and hands-on experience serving as a PSW at LTC homes and in the community. Her office work experience includes a recent care coordination position with a Champlain HCCSS service provider. This combination has provided her with expertise in care coordination and scheduling as well as empathy with the care providers who serve the clients directly.

Faith is a certified PSW and holds a diploma in Healthcare Business Administration. She enjoys putting to good effect her vocational training, hands-on care experience, and administrative expertise to help bring quality care to Team Choice’s clients in the Ottawa region.

Atinuke Alli
Atinuke has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector specializing in administration and customer service. She has served with banks, a production firm, and an accounting firm. She brings to Team Choice her hardworking and positive attitude and is an encouragement to people she interacts with. In addition, her hands-on experience as a certified PSW enables her to relate well with clients and caregivers. Atinuke is inspired daily by her two children. In her free time, Atinuke likes to swim, cycle, paint, and watch movies with her kids.

Adeyemi's expertise in communication and healthcare shines as she works with client's and staff to achieve a win-win-win relationship. Yemi is known for her compassionate approach and dedicates herself to her community, serving as a Teen Class Teacher in her local Church. Yemi’s journey reflects a unique and impactful career, blending education, professional expertise, and community dedication.

Kelly Prue
Kelly Prue has served as a Client Service Coordinator for 7 years after over two decades of hands-on care as a certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) in long-term care (LTC) facilities and community settings. With a diploma in Medical Office Administration, Kelly added organizational and interpersonal skills to her career in compassionate direct care for her clients. Beyond her professional life, Kelly finds joy in family, cherishing moments spent with her 8 beloved grandchildren.

Joseph Cole
Joseph (Joe) brings over two decades of experience in people-centric roles across the public and private sectors. His extensive background spans human resources, change management, learning and development, and continuous improvement, making him a versatile leader. With a deep commitment to client well-being and employee engagement, Joseph combines his passion with expertise in individual, team, and organizational performance management. This unique blend enables Team Choice caregivers to consistently deliver exceptional quality services and support.

Joseph holds multiple certifications and designations in human resources, change management, safety, and adult education, further enhancing his ability to lead and inspire.
Outside of work, Joseph is an avid obstacle course racer who thrives on challenges. He recharges by spending time with his family, exploring new destinations, and embracing a health-conscious lifestyle.

Sheryl's background in physiotherapy and occupational therapy, combined with her significant
experience in customer service and recruitment, makes her a valuable asset to any healthcare team. Her ability to work with a variety of clients, including those involved in motor vehicle accidents and veterans, showcases her adaptability and dedication to patient care. Her prior roles have honed her skills in training and supervision, further enhancing her capability to lead and nurture a team. Sheryl's international experience in training staff underscores her global perspective and ability to manage and integrate diverse teams effectively. At Choice Homecare, her pivotal role in recruitment and onboarding is instrumental in maintaining a robust workforce, while her collaboration with Operations and HR ensures a seamless integration of new hires into the company's culture and values. Sheryl's commitment to fostering a positive work environment and her exceptional communication skills are key to building strong, lasting relationships within the organization.

Adolfo Fonseca
Adolfo Fonseca has over twenty years of mentoring and coaching experience. Moreover, he has worked successfully in areas as diverse as agricultural production, risk analysis, project management, and as an academic at the Pan-American School of Agriculture—the top Agriculture Production and Agri-business university in Latin America.In 2013, Adolfo’s father passed away after an arduous battle with prostate cancer. In caring for his father, Adolfo came to realize the importance of high-quality palliative care.This motivates Adolfo to providing care and support for clients through Choice Homecare’s work to help others in similar situations.

Working in diverse business environments, both within Canada and internationally, has broadened his perspective, allowing him to navigate and address complex financial scenarios with ease. General Manager
Kelly Prevost
As the General Manager of Choice Healthcare, Kelly has been a dedicated leader in the homecare industry since 2012. She started her journey with the organization as a Care Coordinator, where her exceptional organizational skills and commitment to quality care quickly led to her promotion to Director of Care. Under her guidance, she built Choice Homecare’s 5-Star Google-rated care team from the ground up, improving the quality of life for hundreds of families in Ottawa.
With a commitment to “Customized Care for Every Need,” Kelly ensures that the Choice Care Team excels in providing support for a wide range of situations, including non-medical care and specialized services for complex medical conditions such as Alzheimer’s/Dementia, palliative care, ALS, and Parkinson’s.
Before her tenure in homecare, Kelly made significant contributions in Ottawa’s long-term care facilities, caring for hundreds of residents both hands-on and as a Charge Nurse. She was instrumental in designing and launching a Gentle Care Unit specifically for residents living with Alzheimer’s/Dementia, demonstrating her deep compassion and innovative approach to care.
As General Manager, Kelly is passionate about promoting high care standards and implementing detailed procedures that ensure consistent excellence in client care while maintaining safe working environments. Her unwavering dedication to improving the lives of clients and their families drives her mission at Choice Healthcare.
